Diversity Day Picnic & Karaoke
Let's get together to celebrate Diversity Day 2022!
On May 31st we are inviting our employees and guests, as well as their families, to join the Diversity Day Picnic & Karaoke. This event will focus mainly on the cultural diversity of our institute. Everyone is invited to bring some food typical for their culture/cultures. The picnic will then be followed by an intercultural karaoke with songs in various languages. Happy Diversity Day!

"Picture a Scientist" – Film Discussion
The goal of making the film "Picture a Scientist" was to raise visibility around the critical issues of gender equality, diversity, and inclusion in science and invite viewers into a deeper conversation about how to make science more inclusive.
We are getting together at the Max Planck Campus in Potsdam in order to discuss the film (all the employees will have the opportunity to watch it several days beforehand), reflect on gender and minority bias in science, and think of the ways how things can be improved. The event is jointly organized by the Equal Opportunity Officers of the Max Planck Institute (MPI) for Gravitational Physics, MPI of Molecular Plant Physiology, and MPI of Colloids and Interfaces.
