Celebrating inclusive language
We would like to dedicate diversity day to celebrate inclusiveness through language and raise awareness for the topic with workshops from our friends from Babbel and a dedicated questions and answers session.
This will support the introduction of an internal slackbot which will help us be more aware of the language we use by detecting certain terms and automatically providing suggestions for more inclusive alternatives.
Why is inclusive language important? In order to make sure that everyone has a chance to feel and be included, we should be mindful of our language and avoid terms that might insult or hurt.
