German Diversity Day

Our society is diverse and so is our working world. The German Diversity Day is drawing attention with numerous actions - online and offline, for the workforce or for the public. The day of awareness brings the concept of diverse teams and Diversity Management aspects into the world of work. It takes place annually on the initiative of the Association Charta der Vielfalt e. V.

The institutions and employees of our network with more than 3,700 organizations show the flag for diversity nationwide with creative actions. The DDT21 is digitally supported by the hashtag #vielfaltverbindet.

The 9th GDD will take place on the 18th of May 2021

More than 800 organisations sent a signal for diversity in the working world with more than 1,600 actions on the 8th German Diversity Day. We positioned our key topics at live appearances, TV reports, on podcasts and on the radio, in numerous articles in newspapers and online, achieving a media resonance of 450 mil. contacts.

On Twitter the hashtags #GDD20, #flagfordiversity and #diversityconnects occupied the highest ranks of the German Twitter trends all day. In that way - with the help of your diverse and creative contributions - we collectively reached more than 30 mil. accounts. Let yourself be inspired by the digital contributions on Twitter, Facebook and the likes.

More than 14,000 employees and interested people have so far played Diversity: the online game,  testing their own knowledge on diversity topics. Would you like to play the game with your staff?
